His and Hers

These chalices have a dual function. Both the top and bottom of the form can hold liquid and be drank from. The form on the left is glazed on the top with Ohada Red and the bottom is glazed with Hamada Rust. The form on the right has a pattern designed with wax resist and then both the top and bottom have been glazed with Ohata Red. Both forms have been fired to cone 10 in a high reduction kiln.
